The Relay aggregates the com.atproto.sync.subscribeRepos firehoseacross PDS hosts and re-broadcasts the combined event stream overWebSocket. AppViews and indexers subscribe to a Relay to get anear-real-time view of every public record written on the networkwithout polling individual PDS instances.
