Authentication & Security 3

Forum Market Data API declares 3 security schemes for authenticating requests. An API key is passed in the header as FORUM-ACCESS-KEY (ForumAccessKey). An API key is passed in the header as FORUM-ACCESS-TIMESTAMP (ForumAccessTimestamp). An API key is passed in the header as FORUM-ACCESS-SIGN (ForumAccessSign). By default, every request must be authenticated.

  • ForumAccessKey — Your API key ID (e.g. fka1b2c3d4e5f6...)
  • ForumAccessTimestamp — Unix epoch in seconds (UTC), as a string
  • ForumAccessSign — Base64-encoded HMAC-SHA256 signature. Signature generation: prehash = timestamp + method + requestPath + body signature = Base64(HMAC-SHA256(secret, prehash))
