The read-only EPrints REST interface on CentAUR. GET /rest/ returns the dataset index (eprint, user, subject) and GET /rest/eprint/ enumerates every record id — 6.5 MB of ids at probe time — each linking to a per-record XML document. The listings are open; the per-record XML is not: GET /rest/eprint/5.xml returned 401 "EPrints REST: Auth Required" on 2026-09-01, and no public route to a credential exists. Callers wanting the metadata without credentials should harvest OAI-PMH instead. Separately measured: /cgi/search and /cgi/export on this host sit behind an Anubis bot challenge that answers HTTP 200 with an interstitial rather than the document.
